Contempo Chic

Raising children meant investing available time and money in their futures.  Now that those children are grown, time and money are available for other things – like recreating the home interior.

1. Change a brick wall to sheet rock painted warm greige; tangent walls in subtle blue.

2. Change the slate hearth to sleek, glossy white porcelain tile with fireplace surround.

3. New stainless steel fireplace screen.

4. Refinish floors with a brightwash.

5. Urban modern stainless cable railings.

6. Feature lighting.

7. New art and accessories.

8. Same furniture and rug re-arranged; relocate heirloom model ship.

Voilà.  C’est très chic!
